Dr. Croom heads the new Master of Education in School Counseling and Leadership Program and is a National Board Certified Counselor. Although originally from Davenport, Iowa, she received her post-secondary education here in Arkansas -- her B.A. from Arkansas Tech and her M.Ed. and Ed.D at the University of Arkansas. Dr. Croom has 30 years of experience as an educator -- including
classroom teacher (preK through 12), music educator, and school
counselor. She has also served as a trainer and facilitator for
numerous organizations and headed the Safe and Drug Free School
